In recent years, Fuzhou's new energy vehicle industry has continued to expand. In 2025, exports of new energy vehicles reached 32,500 units, up 35.4 percent year on year, with products shipped to more than 80 countries and regions across Europe, the Americas, ASEAN and beyond. Industry operating revenue reached 68.15 billion yuan, up 66.4 percent year on year; vehicle output at the park's core complete-vehicle manufacturing base reached 407,000 units, up 154.5 percent; and total industry exports reached 10.54 billion yuan, up 55 percent. As the production lines at the Phase II complete-vehicle plant came fully online, upstream and downstream suppliers of new energy vehicle materials successively settled in and began production, while overseas orders for complete vehicles continued to grow. The industrial park's overall electricity load has consequently risen rapidly, making stable, reliable and efficient power supply a critical support for capacity expansion, industrial upgrading and deeper engagement with international markets, while also presenting new challenges for power supply services.

Keeping pace with industrial growth, the Fuzhou power supply branch of State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. has strengthened power-supply support services across multiple fronts. It tightened routine electricity safety management by carrying out comprehensive safety inspections in the new energy industrial park, identifying three potential safety hazards in total and reinforcing the safety defenses for electricity use during the hot season. It tapped further potential for energy savings and cost reductions by arranging on-site guidance for park enterprises to optimize production electricity-use plans and adjust off-peak electricity-use patterns; in 2025, it helped the new energy industrial park secure more than 130,000 yuan in electricity-bill incentives over the year. It also reinforced safeguards for line operations by conducting targeted vegetation-clearance work along power supply corridors around the industrial park, removing six potential hazards caused by trees encroaching on lines and keeping the power corridors safe and unobstructed.

With comprehensive and tailored power-supply support services, the Fuzhou power supply branch has effectively addressed a range of electricity-related challenges arising from industrial development and continued to reduce enterprises' energy costs. At the same time, it has proactively collected companies' electricity-use needs, continuously improved supporting power facilities and dedicated services, and continued to empower the high-quality, large-scale development of Fuzhou's new energy vehicle industry.
