Fourth Zunyi Hailongtun International Image Culture Week Opens

The Fourth Zunyi Hailongtun International Image Culture Week opened on August 15.

This year’s International Image Culture Week is being held concurrently at three exhibition venues: Zunyi Art Museum, Hailongtun Tusi Town, and Zunyi 1964 Cultural and Creative Park. With an emphasis on innovation, artistic expression, public participation, and international engagement, the event draws on distinctive local culture, focuses on integrating culture and tourism, and uses visual culture and the arts to create an open, inclusive, and distinctive platform for cultural exchange.

After four years of development, the Zunyi Hailongtun International Image Culture Week has grown into a signature visual culture event rooted in Guizhou, with nationwide reach and international connections. This year’s event also features a series of supporting activities, including a themed field trip for renowned photographers and media influencers to create works commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March, a seminar on innovation and development in pictorial media, and the Zunyi Visual Culture Night. Drawing on distinctive local culture and focusing on the integration of culture and tourism, the event continues to advance the “visual media + cultural tourism” model.
