As a premier platform for high-level exchange and exhibition, the expo brought together health industry resources from across the province. It highlighted Gansu's advancements in authentic medicinal materials, TCM processing, and the broader wellness sector. Additionally, the event featured numerous medical institutions from across the province, demonstrating the collaborative integration of traditional and modern medicine from various perspectives.

Among the exhibitors, Gansu Wuwei Tumour Hospital drew significant attention. The hospital is home to China's first carbon-ion therapy system with independent intellectual property rights. Backed by the technical support of the Institute of Modern Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, heavy-ion radiotherapy—utilizing the unique physical properties of the "Bragg peak"—is capable of precisely targeting tumor lesions. At this expo, the hospital shifted its focus beyond purely technical outreach to promote an innovative model that integrates heavy-ion precision radiotherapy with TCM wellness care, attracting many attendees who stopped to learn more.

Dingxi, long renowned as a "millennium-old medicinal hub," possesses a rich TCM heritage. By serving as a bridge, the TCM Expo not only showcased diverse industrial projects but also provided a vital window for Gansu Wuwei Tumour Hospital to share and promote its achievements in integrative medicine. This initiative has helped increase public awareness of the innovative synergy between heavy-ion therapy and TCM wellness, further contributing to the continued development of Gansu's pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
