Recently, staff from State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited core kiwifruit planting areas in Wuliqiao Town and Dinghe Town, Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, to carry out special power supply inspections during the harvest season. They conducted thorough checks on electrical facilities in sorting workshops, cold storage facilities, and processing assembly lines, promptly eliminating potential equipment safety hazards to fully guarantee a reliable power supply.

Xixia County is a renowned national production base for high-quality kiwifruit. The kiwifruit industry serves as a core pillar of the local specialty industries, driving income growth for local residents and advancing rural revitalization. As kiwifruit enters the peak harvesting period, electricity demand from cold storage and sorting equipment keeps rising. Meanwhile, they explained safe electricity use in cold storage facilities to cooperative staff and fruit farmers and the key points of emergency response to power outages, guided them to submit repair requests and handle business changes online, and answered all kinds of electricity-related questions on the spot.
