JSL Great Wall Trail Race Golden Trail World Series China Stop Successfully Held

From September 26 to 27, the JSL Great Wall Trail Race Golden Trail World Series China Stage was successfully held at the Jinshanling Great Wall Scenic Area in Luanping County, Chengde City, Hebei Province. As a core Asian stop of the Golden Trail World Series, this edition attracted 3,000 participants, including more than 320 international runners from 60 countries and regions, once again setting a new record for international participation in a domestic trail running event.

This edition reintroduced the 100KM category and also featured five categories: the 50KM, Golden Trail 24KM Elite, Golden Trail 22KM Open, and 12KM Adult/Youth races. The course runs through the core area of the Jinshanling Great Wall and the Yanshan Mountains, with the 100KM race featuring a cumulative elevation gain of more than 5,000 meters, combining technical challenge with scenic appeal.

During the event, the "Unchanged Local Accent · Putonghua Challenge" interactive activity was held at the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall. Coinciding with the 29th National Putonghua Promotion Week, the activity was held under the theme "Promote and popularize the standard spoken and written national language in accordance with the law, and forge ahead on the new journey of building a strong country." Several audience members were invited on stage to recite tongue twisters and deliver blessings in both their local accents and Putonghua, vividly illustrating the cultural concept that "local accents are the roots, and Putonghua is the bridge."

The main venue of the JSL Great Wall Trail Race Golden Trail World Series was located in the Jinshanling Great Wall Scenic Area, with the course connecting the Jinshanling Ecological Culture and Tourism Economic Zone. The race experience was deeply integrated with the area's historical culture and autumn scenery, bringing new vitality to the tourism resources of Luanping County, Chengde City, and helping expand the cultural tourism economy.
