Chongqing Changshou: Coordinated Replacement Work Ensures Reliable Power Supply for Over 100 Enterprises

Recently, workers from State Grid Chongqing Changshou Power Supply Company carried out conductor replacement work on two 110 kV lines in the Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone. By replacing aging conductors, insulators, and fittings in a coordinated operation, they eliminated hidden dangers in power grid equipment, strengthened safeguards for power supply security, and ensured a reliable power supply to enterprises.

The 110 kV Zhuleixi Line and the 110 kV Zhuguandong Line are double-circuit lines supported by the same towers. Together, they connect the 220 kV Zhujiaba Substation with the 110 kV Sanguan and Leijiawan substations, directly affecting the reliability of power supply for production at more than 100 enterprises in the Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone. To improve power supply reliability, State Grid Chongqing Changshou Power Supply Company undertook major overhaul and renovation work on the lines in conjunction with its autumn maintenance plan.

This major repair covers nine transmission towers. A total of 4 kilometers of conductors across the two lines will be replaced, along with insulators and other fittings on the towers. The work is expected to be completed by the end of October. To minimize the impact of power outages on enterprise production and residents' lives, State Grid Chongqing Changshou Power Supply Company developed a dedicated power supply assurance plan in advance. During the centralized conductor replacement work, it deployed seven generators and two emergency power supply vehicles to provide temporary power to customers served by branch lines.

After the overhaul is completed, the power supply capacity of the 110 kV Zhuleixi Line and the 110 kV Zhuguandong Line will be further improved, providing stronger power supply support for stable production at enterprises in the Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone and for local high-quality development.
