Jiaozuo, Henan: Reliable Power Supply Supports Stable Agricultural Output and Income Growth

On October 14, staff from Huangzhuang Central Power Supply Station of State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited Yuexin Agriculture Co., Ltd. to conduct thorough inspections of grain-drying equipment and power lines and offer guidance on electricity use, helping bring in the autumn grain harvest.

Jiaozuo, Henan Province, is currently in a critical stage of the autumn harvest. In 2026, the city has set up 112 grain-drying sites with 166 available grain dryers and a combined drying capacity of 16,000 metric tons per batch, providing solid technical support for stable autumn grain production and a bumper harvest.

In response to the intensive use of drying equipment and sharp increases in power demand during the autumn harvest, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company compiled a list of agriculture-related enterprises in advance. Relying on its three-tier service network, the company carried out comprehensive safety inspections focusing on customer-owned transformers and other equipment, striving to eliminate safety risks such as aging lines.

To address customers’ electricity needs, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company opened a dedicated online fast-track channel for electricity services, providing one-stop services covering consultations on electricity use, electricity service applications and grid connections, thereby reducing the need for in-person visits and enabling quicker access to electricity.

Going forward, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company will step up inspections of agriculture-related power lines and equipment, strengthen the management of emergency repair supplies, spare parts and crews at local power supply stations, and continue to provide follow-up support for key customers so as to lay a solid foundation for stable autumn grain production and a bumper harvest with reliable power supply and high-quality power supply services.
