After the rain, clouds and mist rolled through the Wu Gorge, and the scenery of the high gorge and calm lake was picturesque.
On October 19, State Grid Chongqing Wushan Power Supply Company organized the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power (Wushan) Hongyan Communist Party Member Service Team to conduct a special post-rain inspection at the platform of the Goddess Peak Grand Escalator, a popular local landmark.
The staff used infrared thermometers to inspect the escalator's two dedicated power supply lines and outdoor distribution boxes one by one, focusing on identifying risks of equipment dampness and electrical leakage caused by high humidity to build a solid foundation for safe power supply for the regular operation of Wushan's cultural tourism industry in autumn and winter.

This on-site inspection is a reflection of State Grid Chongqing Wushan Power Supply Company's efforts to support the development of the local cultural tourism industry.
Since the summer peak power demand period began in July, Wushan has welcomed a peak in summer vacation visitors. Together with the successive tourism peaks during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, this has driven up electricity demand across the local cultural tourism sector.
The company launched a special power supply assurance plan for cultural tourism in advance and carried out comprehensive maintenance on power supply lines serving key scenic areas, including Goddess Peak and Goddess Stream. It also introduced a dual inspection model combining daily specialized ground patrols with aerial drone inspections to identify and eliminate potential electrical hazards. Stable and reliable power supply is helping sustain the growth of Wushan's cultural tourism market.
