A group of diplomats from the embassies of Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar and other ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries in China visited Weinan Economic and Technological Development Zone on November 4.
They made stops at China Jiaosu City and Zhongken Dairy Company and got an overview of industries with local features.
In China Jiaosu City, the diplomats visited an enzymes exhibition and were briefed in detail about the products on display. Minister Counsellor Razida Hanim Binti Abdul Razak of the Malaysian Embassy in China called the enzyme industry a health and sunrise industry with promising prospects after the visit.
At Zhongken Dairy Company, the diplomats visited the Enterprise Culture Corridor, workshops and a product exhibition. They were briefed about the plant layout, production procedures and the company’s operation and also tried its products such as low temperature pasteurized milk and yogurt. They said the company’s advanced equipment, smart production process and high quality dairy products are all impressive.
Calvin Wong Yun Sheng is the First Secretary (Political) of the Singaporean Embassy in China.
“Both the milk and yogurt taste good, the same as the products made in Singapore. I think if these dairy products enter the Singaporean market, they can suit the taste of Singaporean customers,” said Wong.
