In June, pleasant fruit aromas have filled the air in Dali County, Weinan City of Shaanxi Province while golden ripples have emerged in local wheat fields. The “beautiful countryside” campaign is thriving and the rural revitalization is progressing.

With winter jujube trees covered with fruits, a large variety of high-quality farm produce are about to hit the market. Daylilies are blossoming on both banks of the Yellow River, paving a road to wealth for local people. In June, Dali is embracing its harvest season.

Situated in the Central Shaanxi Plain, Dali figures prominently in China’s agricultural history and now it has become a famous agricultural production base in the country. The county has built ten national bases for grain, oil, fish, Qinchuan cattle and other product production in addition to a provincial high quality farm produce base. Daylily, red date, water melon, peanut and chili are among local products that have become well known in and outside Shaanxi Province.
