Aerospace Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Relying on the advantages of leading institutions in the field of aerospace, such as the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), Xi'an Branch of the Fifth Academy of CASC, the 16th Research Institute of the Ninth Academy of CASC and the Fourth Academy of CASC, Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base will strengthen its capabilities in the research of key and cutting-edge technologies while promoting major supporting projects such as high-thrust rocket engines, reusable vehicles, advanced space power systems, space payloads and inertial devices, thus establishing a significant platform for the development of the aerospace industry.

Aerospace Technology Application Industry

The Base aims to expand the application scope of aerospace technology and strive for breakthroughs in high-end equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection, new materials for aerospace, and other related fields. It will focus on developing industrial robots, new special pump valves, thermal engineering applications, printing and packaging, and bimetallic composite pipes while also advancing development in other directions. It encourages private enterprises to engage in the R&D and production of military industry and supporting products, thereby promoting the deep integration of military and civilian industries.

Satellite and Its Related Application Industry

The Base will focus on developing industries related to satellite navigation, communication, and remote sensing. Led by the largest R&D and production support project for satellite payloads in China, Northern General Electronics Group under China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (CNGC), National Time Service Center (NTSC) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China Putian Xi 'an Industrial Park, Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi'an Satellite Control Center, Xi'an Research Institute of Surveying and Mapping, and Remote Sensing Bureau of China National Administration of Coal Geology, and supported by the expertise of a wide range of scientific research institutes, the Base aims to build a national demonstration area for the satellite application industry.

New Energy and New Materials Industry

The Base will specialize in producing solar cells and modules with high conversion efficiency, and products related to system integration, photovoltaic application and others. It aims to facilitate the integration of the photovoltaic industrial chain with other industries, optimize the value chain of the photovoltaic industry, and expand and strengthen both midstream and downstream segments of the photovoltaic industry.

General Aviation Industry

Following the three-step strategy of building an “aviation airport → industrial park → characteristic town", the Base is constructing a general airport that meets national A2 class standards and plans to establish an aviation industrial park covering about 133 hectares. Centered on the construction of a distinctive town with a focus on aviation and related industries, the base will prioritize the development of helicopter manufacturing, system research and development, UAV research and production, official flight services, emergency rescue operations, air tourism activities, aviation training programs and other related fields to a hundred-billion-level industrial cluster.

New Economy Industry

With the support of JD Cloud, Tencent New Media Institute, Alibaba Cloud and Kingsoft Cloud, the Base will focus on developing cloud computing, big data and related industries to promote the growth of the cloud innovation economy. It aims to promote the application of big data and cloud technologies in enterprises while accelerating the construction of a "cloud development zone" to foster a new hub for digital economy development. It will facilitate the openness and sharing of data, cultivate precise services in the context of big data, provide robust support for innovation in application scenarios, and promote the accelerated development of telemedicine, online consultation, medical O2O, online education, virtual reality and other business models. Through these collaborative efforts, the Base aims to establish an independent industrial ecosystem featuring coordinated development of data, technology, application and security.
