The busy summer months mark the critical period for annual grain production, and thus ensuring agricultural power supply is of utmost importance. Staff members from the State Grid Changxing County Power Company came to the Rice-Vegetable Rotation Base in Gangkou Village, Hongxingqiao Town, Changxing County, to inspect equipment lines, and ensure power supply for irrigation, endeavoring to guarantee the timely harvest and storage of over 1,500 mu of early rice in the base.

Engineers meticulously inspect and check potential hazards of power lines in their jurisdiction

Recently, farmers across Changxing have braved the scorching heat to work tirelessly amidst the rice fields, utilizing harvesters and grain trucks to reap the early ripened rice. They continued to dry the grains around the clock to ensure the final warehousing. Power service personnel came to the fields and utilized drones to conduct aerial inspections of power supply equipment. In the meantime, they took the opportunity to actively publicize the importance of and knowledge on the protection of power infrastructures among farmers, and enhance their understanding of preventing external forces from damaging power installations. In this way, reliable power supply was secured during the harvesting season, and all grains were safely stored.
