Chengdu Baifoqiao TOD Project Officially Starts Construction, With Founder of TOD Theory Participates in Planning and Design

At the beginning of the new year, Chengdu Baifoqiao TOD project officially started its construction. This project is another new TOD project in Wuhou District, Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province. It is also the first TOD project in Chengdu where Peter Calthorpe, the founder of TOD Theory, participated in the planning, design and implementation.

The overall positioning of Baifoqiao TOD project is an "international community of industrial service". There are 1 district-level site and 3 group-level sites within 3 kilometers around the project, creating a small-scale commercial inner street, which connect the subway and the residential area, and highlight the "convenient return". In the future, its service radius will reach 2 kilometers to 3 kilometers, and the service area will be 10 square kilometers to 15 square kilometers.
