The 2nd Xi'an Yanta Youth Expo & Hard & Core Technology and New Creativity Exhibition Was Concluded

On June 11, 2018, “Glorious Block” The 2nd Xi'an Yanta University Student Youth Design Expo & Hard & Core Technology Innovation Exhibition (Hereinafter referred to as “Youth Expo”) held award ceremony at Yanta Xi’an, bringing a wonderful ending for the three-day event.

During the exhibition, 13 local universities including Xi’an Jiaotong University displayed a total of over 1,000 outstanding design works of seven categories that ranged from graphic design, industrial design, architectural design, arts and crafts, fashion design, and film & television production, to sculptures and installations, covering various fields such as scientific and technological innovation, creative life, culture and art, and urban landscape. Among them, 29 projects also participated in the "Meet the Future – Contest of Innovation and Entrepreneurship", which had achieved sound results as expected.

After review by experts from the Organizing Committee of the Youth Expo, Yanta District Party Committee and the district government of Xi'an granted the Best Design Awards, the Latest Creative Awards, the Awards with the Best Potential, the Outstanding Design Awards, and Level-I, Level-II, and Level-III Awards and Finalist Awards of Innovation and Entrepreneurship respectively for 95 design works participating in the design competition such as Safe Harbor: the Rest Station of Environmental Sanitation, as well as 12 projects participating in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest such as Builder of Block Chain 3.0 Ecology. Additional commendation was also rewarded.

It was learned that during the exhibition, Yanta District hosted a series of events such as "Introduce Government Policy to Attract One Million University Graduates to Work in Xi'an and Exchange Ideas on Entrepreneurship in an Interactive Manner", " Meet the Future – Contest of Innovation and Entrepreneurship", and the Youth Expo Forums, which fully demonstrated the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of the contemporary university students.(Kevin)
