The construction of Beijing Daxing International Airport Terminal is in full swing

On the afternoon of March 1, "Witnessing Major Projects and Experiencing the Development of Beijing" media interview was held at the construction site of Beijing Daxing International Airport. AP Associated Press, Agence France Presse, BBC and other international media reporters jointly watched the special film of the airport, and listened to Li Jianhua, deputy director of Beijing Urban Construction Group's new airport construction and project manager of the main terminal building, giving a detailed introduction to the planning and construction of the new airport. They also visited and interviewed the construction of the new airport terminal building on the spot.

Daxing International Airport is located on the south central axis of Beijing, at the center of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is the center of the connection line between Hebei Xiongan New Area and the sub-center of Beijing. After completion, the airport will promote the development of China's comprehensive transportation and the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Li Jianhua now ipushing forward the construction of the terminal building with 3200 congstructors, in order to complete the construction on June 30.

Regarding the functional orientation and division of Beijing Daxing International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport, Li Jianhua said that Beijing Daxing International Airport mainly relied on China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and other main base companies to build a fully functional domestic and international airline network in China. On the contrary, Beijing Capital International Airport mainly relies on China International Airlines and other base airlines, using Star Alliance as the main carrier. (Author: Li Jiayi)
