The race started at 9.30 a.m. on that day. Over 1000 participants, including members from Beijing Walking Association, hiking enthusiasts in Yanqing, and international participants living in Beijing, walked around Yudu Mountain and Wangyou Lake and completed the 5 km walking race. Foam signs with the elements of winter sports such as alpine skiing and sledding were set along the route of the race. The signs attracted many participants to take photo with them. This has deepened people's understanding of events to be held in Yanqing Competition Zone during Beijing 2022.
