The 15th China Chongqing Yangtze River Three Gorges (Wushan) International Red Leaf Festival Opened

On the evening of November 26, the 15th China Chongqing Yangtze River Three Gorges (Wushan) International Red Leaf Festival opened.  In this year's Red Leaf Festival, Wushan County paid more attention to immersive experience, and carried out a new design from the aspects including vision, hearing, taste, creating a new immersive slow-travel tourism mode in the form of internal and external linkage, and the combination of virtual and reality.

In order to provide tourists with a more three-dimensional viewing experience and allow them to better appreciate the red leaves, Wushan launched 4 routes for viewing red leaves in the core scenic spots. During the Red Leaf Festival, various types of theme events will be held, including the Fifth Wushan grilled fish consumption season, the first "World Heritage Site·Wushan Wulipo" scientific research tourism season, the 2021 "Magnificent Journey on the Yangtze River, Poems and Paintings in the Three Gorges" photographers viewing Wushan creative season, the“Hometown Wuxia·Beautiful Village" Rural Tourism Experience Season, "I love red leaves" Tik Tok challenge contest, homestay music seasons and the opening ceremony of the Wushan Crisp Plum Science Park and more.

In addition, during the Red Leaf Festival, Wushan County launched the live performance "The Light of the Three Gorges", a large-scale Yangtze River scenic night tour themed with "Magnificent Yangtze River, Poetry and Painting Three Gorges". The cruise ship was put into trial operation on November 27, and departed at the county tourist terminal at 19:30 every day, providing tourists with diversified choices.
