Shijiazhuang Yuhua District: Kids Learn about Fire Safety at Close Range

Recently, more than 30 teachers and students from Tananlu Primary School in Shijiazhuang came to an education base for the science popularization of firefighting and rescue in Yuhua District of Shijiazhuang City to learn about fire safety.

During this activity, firefighters vividly introduced the names, utilities and features of various vehicles, protective equipment and firefighting equipment to children in plain language. Firefighters also explained knowledge related to firefighting and rescue focusing on fire prevention, the correct way to report a fire, and the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire escapes.

With the help of firefighters, children tried on firefighter uniforms as little firefighters.

In the laboratory for science popularization, firefighters demonstrated the correct way of using fire extinguishers, after which children tried one by one.

This activity enabled students to learn more about fire safety and laid a solid foundation for popularizing fire prevention to everyone.
