Considerate Power Services Safeguard the Warmth of Nursing Homes Throughout the Winter in Nanyang City, Henan Province

　　Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited the Hexin Nursing Home in Tuandong Town, Neixiang County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. They brought fruits, rice, flour, cooking oil, and other daily necessities for the elderly, and conducted a thorough inspection of the electrical facilities in the nursing home, delivering warmth and care to the seniors during the winter season.

　　As temperatures continue to drop, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has actively organized service teams to visit nursing homes, conduct electrical hazard inspections, and provide comforting activities. The team members carefully inspect transformers, distribution boxes, and wiring connections around the nursing home, promptly eliminating potential hazards. They also voluntarily repair heating facilities such as air conditioners and electric warm fans, and replace outdated switches and light bulbs. To enhance the elderly's awareness of electrical safety, the team distributes brochures and posters on the topic and patiently explains precautions for using electricity safely. During the event, the team members also engage in friendly conversations with the elderly, inquiring about their health and living conditions. They express their gratitude for the power supply company's considerate services.

　　To date, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has completed the electrical hazard inspection of nine nursing homes in Neixiang County, addressed a total of five potential electrical issues, and distributed 750 brochures on safe electricity usage. Looking ahead, the company will continue to intensify efforts in identifying electrical hazards and conduct regular visits for comforting and service activities, thereby safeguarding a secure and cozy winter for the elderly.
