The 34th Yanqing Ice and Snow Festival kicked off
On December 10th, the 34th Yanqing Ice and Snow Festival, themed on "Increasing Enthusiasm for Ice and Snow, Having Fun in Yanqing District", was launched in Yanqing District, Beijing. Nearly 200 representatives from culture and tourism bureaus and tourism enterprises in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei attended the activity.

At the launch ceremony, the culture and tourism bureaus from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei signed and issued Joint Proposal of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Promoting Winter Culture and Tourism and Developing Regional Cooperation. In the future, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will actively promote the mutual cooperation in winter culture and tourism.

It is known that the winter festival in Yanqing this year is rich in content. The festival includes a total of 60 leisure activities, with four brand activities, including launch ceremony, Beijing Expo Lantern Festival and Temple Fair, Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival, and Spend Spring Festival in Guesthouse, and six sections, including Winter Tourism Promotion Fair, Ice and Snow Carnival, Ice Lantern Festival, Lantern Festival and Temple Fair in Winter, Snowy Spring Festival, and Winter Competition.
In addition, over 70 guesthouses in Yanqing such as Stone Light Resort and Seclusion in Village have together promoted the activity, Spend Spring Festival in Guesthouse. Tourists can do paper cutting, write Spring Festival scrolls, and feel the charm of traditional Chinese folklore in these guesthouses.

Facing the great opportunity provided by Beijing 2022, Yanqing, based on the all-for-one tourism development, has formed its featured tourism industry integrated with culture, sports, and agriculture, and built the brand of Yanqing based on ice and snow tourism, so as to create and develop an international leisure travel destination.
