Belt and Road Global Youth Tour to Henan Launched in Xinyang

On May 31, the Belt and Road Global Youth Tour to Henan and the First Henan in Foreigner's Eyes Short Video Contest was held in Xinyang.

Youths and experts from over 10 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Lebanon, Pakistan, Poland, etc., formed the first travel team and came to Xinyang which is rich in ecological resources, to enjoy the local beautiful scenery and delicious food, explore its road of green development, and witness the moving scenes of people in the old area, who strive to build a better life and move towards a more prosperous life together.

The year 2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The event invited young people from countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" to explore various parts of Henan in depth, and film a series of short videos to show the world the new achievements of Henan's high-quality development from the perspective of "foreigners".

This event will continue until the end of 2023. During the event, outstanding international youth representatives will be invited to visit cultural brands, beautiful rural areas, and distinctive industries showcasing high-quality development in Henan. They will gain an understanding of the strength of Henan that embodies the spirit of China, Chinese values, and the self-confidence of the Chinese culture, and experience the modernization of the flourishing Henan in the new era.

The First Henan in Foreigner's Eyes Short Video Contest is open to global submissions of short videos, aimed at presenting the real, multidimensional, and vibrant Henan in the new era to the world.
