On July 26, the "Daka China - Understanding the Chinese Path to Modernization in Xinjiang" Online International Communication Event officially kicked off. The event is co-organized by the Cyberspace Administration of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and CRI Online of China Media Group, and began in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Online influencers from eight countries including Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand and the United Kingdom will visit several areas of Xinjiang Province, including Urumqi, Hotan and Kashgar, to personally experience this unique region in China's new era and see how it has put the Chinese path to modernization into practice.

With three sessions having already taken place in Henan, Liaoning and Shaanxi, the 2023 "Daka China - Understanding the Chinese Path to Modernization in Xinjiang" Online International Communication Event is now coming to Xinjiang as the fourth stop of its tour.
On the morning of July 26, the Xinjiang tour began with a group of online influencers from all over the world visiting Xinjiang Museum and appreciating the cultural relics there. The Museum provides a rich understanding of the melting-pot history of cultural exchange between ethnic groups and civilizations in Xinjiang.
According to the itinerary, the group will also visit Urumqi International Land Port Area, the e-commerce industry park in Hotan, Kashgar Ancient City, a folk musical instrument village in Shufu County and Nakixwan carpet factory.
Multi-language media reporting will support the event, available on a variety of platforms. The invited influencers will also record their experiences individually, posting on their social media accounts so as to tell the real stories of Xinjiang, with the aim of promoting genuine interaction and mutually trustworthy communication between China and the world.
