'iTonglu - Firework Show at the Beginning of Spring' Lit up the Sky of Tonglu

On the evening of February 4, the "iTonglu - Firework Show at the Beginning of Spring" was put on over the confluence of Fuchun River and Fenshui River. Warm-up programs such as Tonglu's original folk dance Longqi Dance, acrobatics Dragons Rising and Tigers Leaping, dragon dance Dragon Dance for Flourishing Age, and highlights of martial arts from previous CCTV Spring Festival Gala, were displayed on the waterside deck of Xuesheng Square, Tonglu County.

The best spots for viewing the firework show were given to Tonglu's ethical role models, model workers, medical staff, sanitation workers, most amazing volunteers, the newlyweds, etc., which demonstrates Tonglu's guidance on positive energy and special treatment for model citizens.

Ten industry representatives including ethical role models, public security police, frontline workers and young pioneers beat the drum at 19:00 to launch the firework show. Citizens rushed to take photos with phones or cameras to record this wonderful moment.

"The local government gave us the best viewing spots, so I could enjoy the fireworks perfectly, as if they were lit up in front of me. Today's firework show represents best wishes for the new year. I believe Tonglu will be better in the future," said Bei Xue excitedly, one of Tonglu's ethical role models selected.

"We are going to hold a wedding ceremony two days later. The splendid and romantic firework show is the best blessing for us," said Yang Siyu, with a huge smile on her face. She said that as a newcomer to Tonglu, she felt the happiness and warmth of living in Tonglu especially after today's firework show.
