2025 'Belt and Road: Together with You' – Overseas Bloggers Embark on Shenyang Journey

"I'm really excited to explore Shenyang, immerse myself in its culture, and share its stories with my followers in Germany and around the world," said Robert Michael Adolf, a German blogger visiting the city for the first time. Brimming with curiosity, he couldn't wait to embark on his journey of discovery.

Recently, the "Open China, Vibrant Shenyang – 2025 'Belt and Road: Together with You' Overseas Bloggers in Shenyang" event officially commenced.

Nearly 20 bloggers from Germany, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and other countries gathered in Shenyang to delve into the city’s advancements in technological innovation, cultural revitalization, ecological management, industrial heritage, and local urban life. They will witness firsthand Shenyang's new practices, breakthroughs, and achievements in its pursuit of high-quality development.

At the launch ceremony, models presented Qipao designs created by Zhang Aijun, a representative inheritor of Manchu-style Qipao, an item of intangible cultural heritage, and Shenyang’s Qipao Culture Promotion Ambassador.

Sun Tianshu, a post-1985-generation inheritor of Liao porcelain craftsmanship, displayed porcelain pieces with a smooth and lustrous glaze.

Another inheritor, Chen Xueyue, showcased the charm of Eastern traditional drama through a performance of Fengtian shadow puppetry.

Acting as a local host, he warmly invited fellow bloggers to join him in discovering the city. "Please enjoy yourselves and experience the charm of Shenyang. In the coming days, the bloggers will visit Neusoft Medical, Shenyang Ex Future Science and Technology Museum, the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Fangcheng, Daomeng Space (Rice Dreamland), Shenyang Botanical Garden, BMW Brilliance Tiexi Plant, the Industrial Museum of China, 1905 Cultural and Creative Park, Chang’an Community, and Dadong Food Mall. Through these visits, they will explore Shenyang’s deep historical legacy, its industrial transformation and renewal, and its vibrant ecological landscape—uncovering vivid stories to share a more authentic and lively image of the city with the world.
