In early February, the ancient town of Tingpang, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, is steeped in the festive atmosphere of the Lantern Festival. The streets, once quiet, are now bustling with excitement. A hundred-meter-long dragon dance, a millennium-old cultural heritage, emerges from the mist, shimmering brightly in the festive atmosphere. On February 11, a grand Yangjia dragon dance parade kicked off the Lantern Festival. Employees of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company conducted safety checks in advance at key locations such as light displays and performance venues during the Lantern Festival. The company assigned dedicated personnel to inspect power lines and temperature levels targeting the substations and lines critical for maintaining electricity supply, closely monitoring the load lines and equipment operations. Power is supplied to more than 20 locations featuring lantern displays, colorful lights, and neon lights, all part of the festival's on-site decorations.

At exactly 12 o'clock noon, the midday water-fetching ceremony commences. It is not only a living display of intangible cultural heritage but also a generational inheritance of agricultural civilization. The procession started from the Yang's ancestral temple, with the dragon dance and five mythical beasts parade leading the way, moving grandly through the Chuxin Square towards the Yang clan temple. The people fetched water from the Dragon Pond and sprinkled it on the earth, praying for favorable weather and bountiful harvests in the new year.
