Fuzhou Power Supply Boosts Local NEV Industry with Reliable Power Supply

Fuzhou’s new energy vehicle (NEV) industry has boomed in recent years. In 2024, the industrial park recorded over 40 billion yuan in output value, with NEV exports accounting for 89.1% of Jiangxi Province’s total and reaching more than 80 countries and regions. After the completion of the second-phase project, the park is expected to become an emerging automotive hub with annual revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan, posing significant challenges to power supply reliability due to rapidly increasing electricity demand.

To address this, State Grid Fuzhou Power Supply Company has advanced infrastructure construction to high standards, including constructing and energizing the 110-kV Yangwang Substation to align power supply capacity with industrial development. It has also optimized soft services by assigning dedicated customer managers to all enterprises in the park, establishing an intelligent platform to provide single-process services, and forming special teams to deliver “one enterprise, one policy” customized solutions. Since 2024, the company has visited 42 enterprises in the park and resolved 18 electricity-related issues.

By providing precise services that effectively address power supply bottlenecks for industrial growth, State Grid Fuzhou Power Supply Company will continue to track power supply conditions and gather enterprise needs, serving as a “power pioneer” to support the high-quality development of Fuzhou’s NEV industry.
