At 7:30 a.m. on April 30, the launch ceremony for the "Colorful Guizhou" themed tourist train was held at Guiyang Railway Station. As the train slowly departed from the platform and headed east toward the ancient town of Zhenyuan in Qiandongnan Prefecture, it marked the official entry into service of Guizhou's first themed tourist train.

The train, refitted from a traditional green carriage train, features a dreamy purple color scheme, with Guizhou's iconic landscapes such as Huangguoshu Waterfall and Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village painted on its exterior. The train consists of soft sleeper cars, a multi‑functional entertainment car, a dining car, and a multi‑functional sightseeing car, offering the experience of "sitting comfortably while the scenery flows past the windows."

On the maiden journey, professional photographers were arranged to take free photos for guests throughout the trip. Activities such as a "Village T" fashion show and ethnic song and dance performances were organized, along with exclusive souvenirs, immersing guests in Guizhou's cultural atmosphere from the moment they boarded.

Accompanied by songs and laughter, with breathtaking views along the way, the train arrived punctually at its destination, Zhenyuan, after a journey of about three and a half hours. A welcoming ceremony full of ethnic minority charm greeted the visitors—with lusheng music, dancing, and heartfelt hospitality from local communities.

At 9:00 p.m. that evening, the train departed from Zhenyuan for the return trip to Guiyang. Within a single day, travelers could enjoy the train's unique ambiance and explore the thousand‑year‑old ancient town—without long transfers or complicated planning—offering a "worry‑free direct trip, resort‑style experience, and free travel photography" in one journey.
