32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair Opens

The 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (CLZITF) officially opened on July 9 in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province. Themed “New Opportunities for Practical Cooperation, New Landscape for Open Development,” this year’s fair covers an exhibition area of 54,000 square meters. It brings together over 1,900 exhibitors showcasing more than 10,000 products in nearly 40 major categories. The exhibits span a wide range of sectors and product categories, from aerospace technology, artificial intelligence, and new energy to specialty agricultural products and everyday consumer goods.
This year’s fair features the Republic of Korea and Pakistan as its guest countries of honor. Representatives from foreign missions in China and international organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are attending the fair. Multiple cross-border economic and trade matchmaking activities are also being held. The fair focuses its targeted investment promotion efforts on Gansu’s key industrial chains and has developed an AI-powered online platform for investment promotion. It is also working with retailers, supermarkets, and cultural and tourism businesses across Gansu to offer consumer vouchers to the public.
The fair is scheduled to run through July 13, with the main exhibition hall open to the public free of charge. Project signing activities and business negotiations are progressing smoothly. The fair continues to serve as an opening-up hub in Northwest China while deepening investment and trade cooperation with countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
