Guizhou Renhuai Holds "Fine Baijiu for China" Promotion Event

On September 11, the World Core Production Area for Jiang-flavor Baijiu (Renhuai) "Fine Baijiu for China" (Guiyang Station) promotion conference was held at the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center. At the event, new products from the World Core Production Area for Jiang-flavor Baijiu (Renhuai) were released—16 newly certified and coded products. To date, the total number of certified and coded products in Renhuai has reached 266, further advancing the transformation of Renhuai Jiang-flavor Baijiu toward quality-driven development.

When it comes to world-class Jiang-flavor Baijiu, Guizhou is the place to look, and the core production area is in Renhuai. With its unique natural brewing ecosystem, Renhuai has earned the prestigious reputation of being the "birthplace of Jiang-flavor Baijiu and the core production area for Chinese Jiang-flavor Baijiu." In recent years, Renhuai has continued to push forward its transformation "from selling liquor to selling a lifestyle," cultivating and developing distinctive distilleries that offer diverse experiences and services, such as traditional brewing experiences, high-end leisure and vacation offerings, and Jiang-flavor Baijiu study tours.

Renhuai is steadfastly advancing new industrialization led by the Jiang-flavor Baijiu industry, and is taking on the responsibility of helping Guizhou build an important national baijiu production base. In 2025, Renhuai's GDP reached 202.643 billion yuan, and baijiu enterprises above designated size achieved a total output value of 117.719 billion yuan.

At present, the baijiu industry is undergoing profound adjustments. Renhuai is pursuing policy guidance, adopting systematic measures, and making targeted efforts to fully strengthen the leading role of the World Core Production Area for Jiang-flavor Baijiu, accelerate the formation of an enterprise echelon structure featuring "leading enterprises as the vanguard, backbone enterprises as support, and small and medium-sized enterprises clustered together," and strive to build a stronger enterprise base in the production area.

At the same time, Renhuai continues to promote the integration of liquor and tourism while innovating new business models, comprehensively implementing an upgraded approach to the transformation "from selling liquor to selling a lifestyle." Guided by the goals of building Moutai Town into a world-famous town and Renhuai into a world-renowned leisure and resort tourism city, it is making every effort to develop a number of liquor-themed tourist attractions and distinctive distilleries, and explore new avenues for industrial development.
