Shandong University of Technology Establishes Friendly Cooperation with Tashkent State Agricultural University in Uzbekistan

Recently, Shandong University of Technology held a video conference on exchange and cooperation with Tashkent State Agricultural University in Uzbekistan, marking the official establishment of friendly cooperation between the two universities and opening up in-depth exchanges and cooperation in academic, educational, and scientific research fields. Cong Hailin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong University of Technology, Lslamov SohibYaxshibekov, Vice President of Tashkent State Agricultural University, Director of the Uzbekistan Chinese Cultural Center, and relevant department and college heads from both universities attended.

Cong Hailin introduced the basic overview of Shandong University of Technology, stating that the university attaches great importance to internationalization of education, especially exchanges and cooperation with Central Asian countries. He hopes that the cooperation between the two universities in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and platform construction will be solid and effective, achieving complementary advantages and promoting win-win development.

Lslamov SohibYaxshibekov introduced the basic situation of Tashkent National Agricultural University and expressed his intention to cooperate in the construction of the Shandong Institute of Technology branch (Chinese Culture College) of the National Agricultural University. Cooperation will be carried out in the construction of international Chinese education majors, the training and exchange of Chinese language teachers, and the establishment of Chinese language internship practice bases; Both sides can deepen cooperation in establishing international joint laboratories, Sino foreign cooperative education projects, and professor visits in the fields of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturing. It is hoped that both sides will actively connect and promote the implementation of relevant exchange projects as soon as possible.

Both sides had in-depth exchanges on how to implement talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and platform construction, and reached cooperation intentions on academic conferences, professor visits, student joint training, joint laboratory construction, and the Central Asian Research Center. Both sides expressed their active efforts to promote the signing of exchange and cooperation agreements between the two universities.
