Mount Tai, China’s first world cultural and natural heritage, is a sacred mountain with great cultural and spiritual significance for the Chinese nation. On Sept 8, ‘Hi, Mount Tai’ Study and Experience Camp for Internet Influencers Around World will be launched to tell the stories of Mount Tai to the world. This event is hosted by Cyberspace Administration of Shandong and CRI Online of China Media Group, organized by Shandong Branch of CRI Online, and co-organized by Cyberspace Administration of Tai’an.

Nine internet celebrities are invited to the Camp, who are from America, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, South Korea, Ukraine as well as the multi-lingual internet influencers studio of China Media Group. They will climb Mount Tai to appreciate the magnificent scenery and time-honored culture amid ancient pines, cypress trees, and famous stone carvings on the mountain. And they will also visit the Daimiao Temple, an ancient architecture complex that tells the history of Mount Tai. At the foot of the mountain, internet celebrities will learn to prepare a tofu banquet, watch the 'shibuxian' shadow puppetry, study rubbing and peach wood carving techniques, thus fully appreciating the unique intangible cultural heritage related to Mount Tai.

During the event, wide-spread coverage will be made by CRI Online through different languages, multiple terminals, and integrated media platforms. Meanwhile, Internet celebrities from home and abroad will also also share their experiences and feelings from a unique perspective through their own social accounts, telling the stories of Mount Tai under their lenses. Moreover, two series of short videos about Mount Tai will be launched during the event, including 'New Era in China' multi-lingual online micro-documentary and 'Hi, Mount Tai' AI short video, which are jointly produced by the Cyberspace Administration of Shandong and CRI Online.
