The list of "Top Ten Projects of Promoting Reading in Hebei Province" was recently released. The public reading spaces called "Drift Bookstore" in Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang City stood out among more than 80 projects and made it to the list.

There are currently six "Drift Bookstores" in Yuhua District. They not only host book-sharing activities, but also provide popular cultural services such as book reading clubs, parent-child activities, and health promoting events. Additionally, they offer residents a cozy space for studying.

The "Drift Bookstore" in Yuhua District is an exploration and attempt to promote reading among the public. There are currently more than 30,000 books available for sharing, including books on China's red culture and family education, books for children, and classic literary masterpieces. Residents can borrow three books free of charge at a time, and return them at Shijiazhuang Library, Yuhua Library, and all other "Drift Bookstores". The staff will track the circulation of books every week, and update the book categories in the "Drift Bookstores" on a regular basis, so as to provide residents with diverse and personalized reading experiences.
