The Zhenbeitai Great Wall Scenic Area, situated three kilometers north of Yulin City, offers a blend of historical, cultural and ecological attractions, featuring the prominent Zhenbeitai Tower, Ming Dynasty Great Wall section, remnants of Kuangong City and Yima City, as well as the picturesque Saishang natural scenery. The main structure, Zhenbeitai Tower, is the most grandiose and imposing building among the Great Wall ruins. Its towering presence exudes grandeur, earning recognition both within China and across the globe for its spectacular magnificence. Zhenbeitai Tower is often referred to as the heart of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall and has been dubbed the "First Tower of the Great Wall" by historians.

The Great Wall of China, a symbol of the Chinese nation, began construction in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty, now standing as the world's largest and most extensive cultural heritage. As the "First Tower of the Great Wall," Zhenbeitai is the largest pier-tower-style structure in terms of floor area on the Great Wall. It is also the sole remaining large-scale military observation and command post on this historic architectural marvel.
