Zen Oil Paintings and Gem Jewelry Compete in Wendao Park

Shanghai's Wendao Park is currently hosting a cross-cultural art exhibition that beautifully blends Zen oil paintings with bright gems from nature. The exhibition has captivated art enthusiasts and jewelry lovers alike.

The highlight of the exhibition is a collection of 18 oil paintings themed "Waiting for Blossom", created by Wang Guoping, Chinese guest painter and art consultant at Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. These works, with their jade-like hues and ethereal atmosphere, transport viewers to a serene oasis. Accompanying the paintings are over 300 exquisite pieces of jade, ruby, sapphire, pearl, and other gemstones, creating a captivating interplay of colors and light.

Among various paintings, Wang Guoping's Toward the Cloud is particularly striking. Moreover, he has employed VR technology to immerse visitors in the Zen state of his paintings, offering a truly immersive artistic experience.

This exhibition has not only sparked curiosity and admiration among the public but has also ignited discussions among art circles about the possibilities of cross-cultural fusion.
