In the expansive garden of Jiu'ao village, Fenghua, the sea of peach blossoms is like smoke and rosy clouds. Lin Shannian sits in a wheelchair, with more than ten silver-haired musicians behind him, their traditional instruments playing in seamless harmony flutes intertwining with resonant strings. Volunteers from the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power's Xiaocao Team form a semicircle, quietly savoring the performance while softly humming along to the rhythm. Dating back to 2018, whenever peach blossoms bloomed each spring, the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power's Xiaocao Team would accompany Lin Shannian on outings and flower viewing. From the initial solitary companionship to this year when the elderly man actively invited his friends to form an opera art ensemble and perform for the volunteers, this seven-year bond has been constantly sprouting new vitality. Mr. Lin has always aspired to transform the warmth accumulated over years into meaningful action, using seniors' artistic talents as conduits for heartfelt connections to flow through mutual interactions.

It is reported that the Xiaocao Volunteer Service Team was established in 1990 and has been providing services such as electrical repair and daily care for elderly people who live alone or with disabilities in Fenghua for a long time, having served over 5,000 senior citizens to date. Through their tireless visits and compassionate actions, they have brought familial warmth to countless elders.
