On the morning of September 17, State Grid Huai'an Power Supply Company utilized drones from its fixed-base stations to conduct comprehensive aerial inspections around key transportation hubs and crowded areas, including Huai'an Bus Terminal and Punan Road Agricultural Market, in coordination with municipal authorities.

Drones Conduct Aerial Monitoring Around Huai'an Bus Terminal

Leveraging its citywide autonomous drone inspection system for power equipment, the company has developed an "Aerial Supervision Platform for Urban Development." This platform enables regular monitoring of crucial urban areas such as agricultural markets, transportation hubs, and river-lake networks, while automatically issuing alerts for infractions including "garbage accumulation and illegal parking." Simultaneously, it transmits location data and photographic evidence of such incidents to the Municipal Civilization Office and community grid administrators, facilitating immediate on-site intervention and rectification.

To improve algorithmic recognition accuracy, State Grid Huai'an Power Supply Company has enhanced its application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence algorithms, which has collected over 26,000 images and created 12,000 high-quality samples, enabling the platform to achieve an identification accuracy rate exceeding 92% for various urban infractions. The system has supported municipal departments in efficiently addressing hundreds of cases related to waste clearance and traffic management, thereby significantly improving urban governance efficiency.
