At present, Nanyang is in the critical stage of harvesting 8.7 million mu of autumn grain, while continuous rainfall has posed severe challenges to the harvest season. State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has precisely adjusted the power grid operation mode, giving priority to electricity supply for agricultural irrigation, grain drying, and grain storage enterprises. The company has implemented 24-hour load monitoring and special inspections for power supply lines and distribution transformer areas related to grain drying, increased the frequency of infrared temperature measurements and drone patrols, and promptly identified and handled potential equipment risks. In addition, comprehensive inspections of power facilities at all grain drying sites and storage centers have been carried out, with staff assisting users in checking internal wiring and drying equipment to ensure safe and stable operation throughout the harvest period.
Meanwhile, the company has opened a green channel for agricultural electricity use, offering one-stop services for grain drying power applications to minimize processing time. To handle potential emergencies during the harvest season, sufficient emergency power generators have been prepared, and repair teams are on 24 hours standby to ensure rapid power restoration in the event of an outage.
