The "Long Dragon" Dance
On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the lantern festival in Huangcheng Town, Fengcheng, Jiangxi, kicked off with great excitement, featuring a spectacular performance of the thousand-year-old intangible cultural heritage, the "Fengcheng Plum Candle Lantern (Bench Dragon)." The success of this traditional folk celebration was made possible by the comprehensive power support from State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power. Empowered by modern electrical technology, the ancient Plum Candle Lantern shone with unprecedented brilliance, creating the most captivating cultural landscape of the festival night.
The "Bench Dragon" Performance
To ensure the event's smooth operation, State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power established a "full-process, zero-blind-spot" support system in advance. During the preparation phase, staff utilized drones to conduct detailed inspections of five surrounding power lines, identifying and eliminating potential hazards. Throughout the event, a UPS power supply vehicle was deployed in key areas, such as the Weimei Wellness Valley, to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. Furthermore, dedicated personnel were stationed around the clock in three core zones to respond to any emergencies, effectively providing a "safety umbrella" of power protection for the intangible cultural heritage performance.
