On February 23, Huanggang Dong Village in Shuangjiang Town, Liping County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, held a vibrant folk event called the "Tai Guan Ren" celebration. Villagers of all ages wore meticulously prepared festive costumes, creating an atmosphere full of laughter and joy.
With a history spanning over 800 years, Huanggang Village is one of the best-preserved traditional villages in Guizhou Province. In October 2025, it was recognized as a "Best Tourism Village" by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, cementing its status as a cultural showcase of Guizhou. The event aimed to preserve and pass down the region's rich traditional culture while promoting the integration of cultural tourism, presenting a unique audio-visual feast that showcased the charm of Dong ethnic heritage.
