On March 16, State Grid Guyuan Power Supply Company officially launched its 2026 spring inspection. Seizing the prime time for equipment maintenance and testing in spring, the company kicked off the first round of spring inspection at Xiangshui 110kV Substation, conducting comprehensive overhauls on core substation equipment, eliminating potential safety hazards in a timely manner, and ensuring the safe operation of the power grid.
As the first site of spring inspection, the company adhered to the work principle of "early planning, detailed deployment, and strict implementation". It organized technical experts to carry out on-site surveys in advance, formulate maintenance plans, and clarify operation procedures and risk control responsibilities. Meanwhile, it strictly verified the qualifications of on-site personnel to ensure the maintenance work is carried out safely, in a standardized manner, and efficiently.
The full-outage centralized maintenance of Xiangshui 110kV Substation is a demanding task. Various professional centers coordinated maintenance schedules scientifically and collaborated efficiently: the maintenance and testing team precisely identified and eliminated defects in core equipment, the relay protection team ensured the reliable operation of the grid's "nerve center", and the transmission team deployed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inspections to realize a dual approach combining aerial inspection and ground-based maintenance. All staff abided by maintenance standards to conduct thorough inspections of equipment, ensuring the reliable operation of every piece of equipment.
The on-site person in charge stated that the centralized maintenance mode can effectively reduce repeated outages and improve maintenance efficiency, laying a solid power grid safety foundation for the subsequent peak-load summer period. After two days of continuous work, the maintenance was successfully carried out, with various equipment hidden dangers thoroughly removed, significantly enhancing the operational stability and power supply reliability of Xiangshui 110kV Substation.
Next, building on this spring inspection, the company will focus on ensuring safe power supply, promote digital and intelligent technologies such as UAV inspection, strictly implement standardized operation requirements, and advance subsequent spring inspection tasks in an orderly manner.
