Recently, State Grid Zhangye Power Supply Company carried out its first Category III complex live-line operation using two insulated bucket trucks working in coordination. Using bypass technology to transfer the load, the company rectified equipment defects while maintaining a stable power supply for 6,000 households and eight key enterprises throughout the operation, with customers experiencing no perceptible interruption to their electricity supply.

This operation overcame the limitations of single-vehicle work through an innovative approach. By applying advanced live-line work techniques, the company ensured, to the greatest extent possible, that residents’ daily lives and production at local enterprises continued in an orderly manner. The operation provides strong support for ensuring a reliable power supply during the summer peak period and contributes to the stable functioning of the local economy.
