A seminar on the coordinated development of vehicle intelligence and computing power was held recently in Qingyang. As one of the eight national computing hubs in China’s integrated national computing power network, Qingyang is drawing on its role in the “East Data, West Computing” initiative and its strengths in green computing. It invited automakers, cloud computing companies and Chinese chip companies from across the country to tap into its computing resources and discuss how computing power can drive vehicle intelligence and support the coordinated growth of the two industries.

At the seminar, participants delivered speeches on topics including addressing data and computing power bottlenecks in end-to-end intelligent driving, building infrastructure for interconnected computing resources, coordinating computing resources for new energy vehicle R&D, and achieving the large-scale deployment of autonomous driving. Together, the discussions outlined how computing power can drive vehicle intelligence.
The seminar in Qingyang
The seminar provided an important platform for exchange and cooperation between the automotive and computing sectors. Drawing on Qingyang’s abundant green computing resources, improving computing and network infrastructure, and increasingly supportive industrial policies, resources from the two industries are expected to flow and converge more rapidly. Stakeholders are also expected to deepen practical cooperation in intelligent driving model training, vehicle-road-cloud collaboration, and data circulation and application.
Industry participants hope the seminar will help turn Qingyang’s computing power strengths into industrial competitiveness, advance technological development and large-scale deployment in real-world scenarios within China’s intelligent driving sector, and open up new opportunities for the coordinated development of vehicle intelligence and computing power.
