First China Digital Apiculture High Quality Development Summit contributes Chinese wisdom to transformation of global apiculture

Apiculture High Quality Development Summit was held in Chun’an county, Zhejiang Province.

Dr. Yun Mingqing, director of Professional Committee of Ecological Apiculture of China Association for Quality Promotion delivered a speech at the summit.

For totally upgrading ecological apiculture, breaking the bottleneck that restricts China’s beekeeping industry development, the first China Digital Apiculture High Quality Development Summit was formally held in Chun’an county, Zhejiang Province on May 18th, 2019. The summit, which was jointly hosted by China Association for Quality Promotion and people’s government of Fengshuling town, focused on digital apiculture high quality development. Representatives attending the summit discussed digital service applied in beekeeping industry and effective mode, and they witnessed publishing of the Digital Apiculture Product Chain Total Solution, the first of its kind worldwide.

For the first time this solution realizes systematic integration of nectar origin place, bee colony, beekeepers, cloud data platform and wisdom ecological honey repository through terminal application. It promotes innovative interactivity with scenarios of B terminal and C terminal, establishes ecological apiculture’s green supply chain system and digital targeted poverty alleviation application scenarios.

More than 300 representatives, who came from government departments, industry associations, key targeted regions for poverty alleviation nationwide, bank and finance institutions, technology institutions and apiculture organizations, attended the summit. They discussed utilization of digital economy for ecological apiculture, artificial intelligence, inclusive finance promoting apiculture development, targeted poverty alleviation and countryside revitalization.

Mr. Zhang Baowen, Deputy Chairman of the 12th NPC Standing Committee sent a congratulation letter to the summit. He highly appreciated China Association for Quality Promotion-Ecological Apiculture Committee (CAQP-EAC) for practicing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s theory of “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” and making positive achievement of digital development of China’ beekeeping industry and targeted poverty alleviation.
