In early 2020, the COIVD-19 pandemic broke out of the blue, posing a threat to people's lives and health. The heroes against the pandemic emerged successively, making us feel safe and secure, as well as the temperature of "happiness". Liang Xiaoxia, a heroine from Nanning who fought against the pandemic and sacrificed her young life to protect the public, highlights the responsibility of young people in the new era. 毛南族歌手蒙娃努索和她的搭檔李大為一同為大家帶來毛南族歌曲《慶豐年》，為毛南族的幸福生活與美好明天而歌唱。

今年廣西環江縣毛南族實現整族脫貧，村民的生活有了明顯改善。毛南族代表譚美春在晚會現場分享了毛南族整族脫貧後的變化。
譚美春説：“現在水泥馬路通向家家戶戶，給我們的生産生活帶來了很大的便利；村裏網絡通達，年輕人學會了利用網絡把家鄉的農特産品銷往全國各地，大家的日子越過越好。”

This year, the Maonan ethnic group in Huanjiang County, Guangxi, has lifted out of poverty, and the lives of the villagers have improved significantly. At the Gala, Tan Meichun, a representative of the Maonan ethnic group, shares the changes of the entire group after overcoming poverty.
Tan Meichun says, "Now cement roads lead to every family, bringing great convenience to our work and life. With an access to internet connections, young people in the village have traded agricultural local products to other regions of China. Everyone's life is getting better."

"Happy Nanning Get High", a medley of sensational songs, culminates the Gala. Guangxi Sports Center, the main venue, is connected to parallel performances at landmark sites including the Three Streets and Two Alleys of old Nanning and the Folk Song Lake via cloud technology, achieving joint singing and dancing performance and showing the urban charm of happy Nanning.

With a long history of 22 years, Nanning International Folk Song Festival (NIFSAF) has made the green city of Nanning into "the paradise of folk songs".
