Kaifeng, the capital of eight dynasties, resembles a treasurable pearl along the Yellow River. It features a grand river culture and the splendid culture of the Northern Song Dynasty. The show reproduces a grand country of the past and presents Song Ci, a classical Chinese poetry, before us.

Flowing all the way to Kaifeng, the Yellow River has been nurturing the city's culture. The sound of the piano brings us to Kaifeng, which is filled with the fragrance of chrysanthemums, on the bank of the Yellow River.

本屆菊花文化節將於10月18日開幕、11月18日閉幕，歷時1個月。本屆菊花文化節以“講好黃河故事、花開八朝古都”為主題，旨在彰顯“黃河情、菊香韻、歡樂宋”的文化內涵，同時將中國傳統文化、菊文化、宋文化及綠色生態可持續發展理念相結合，把開封燦爛恢弘的歷史、深厚的文化底蘊、靚麗的現代形象、美好的發展前景，全面展示在世人面前，是一場既有時代氣息又具有開封特色的菊花盛宴。

The festival will kick off on October 18 and draw to a close on November 18, lasting for a month. With the theme of “Telling the Story of the Yellow River, Decorating the Capital of Eight Dynasties with Chrysanthemums”, it aims to show people's affection for their mother river, the fragrance of chrysanthemums and the culture of the Song Dynasty. At the same time, it integrates the Chinese traditional culture, the chrysanthemums culture and the Song culture with the concept of green, ecological and sustainable development, presenting Kaifeng's splendid history, rich culture, gorgeous modern image and bright future. The festival is a visual feast of chrysanthemums with both the spirits of the time and Kaifeng's characteristics.

黃河是八朝古都開封的“母親河”，沉澱了一座城的厚重，滋養了一城人的幸福；菊花是秋日開封的“金縷衣”，氤氳了一座城的芬芳，甜醉了一城人的生活。“講好黃河故事、花開八朝古都”，今年38歲的中國開封菊花文化節，“黃河情、菊香韻、歡樂宋”內涵豐富，國際范兒越來越足，文化味兒越來越濃，時尚勁兒越來越燃，奏響了新時代“黃河大合唱”的“開封強音”，成為文化的盛宴、人民的節日、合作的平臺。

As the mother river of Kaifeng, the capital of eight dynasties, the Yellow River has witnessed the massive history and nurtured the residents of the city. In autumn, chrysanthemums cover the city like a gold-thread dress. Their fragrance fills the city and enchants its people. With the theme of “Telling the Story of the Yellow River, Decorating the Capital of Eight Dynasties with Chrysanthemums”, the 38th Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival will kick off in Kaifeng. It will present people's affection for their mother river, the fragrance of chrysanthemums and the culture of the Song Dynasty. As the event has become more internationalized and fashionable with stronger cultural atmosphere, it starts a new Kaifeng chapter of the "Yellow River Cantata", serving as a feast of culuture, a festival of people and a platform of cooperation.
