Michelin Restaurants and Famous Chengdu Dishes Included in "Chengdu 2022 New Year's Eve Dinner Guide"

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in Chinese traditional culture, of which the New Year's Eve dinner is an important part. A few days ago, Chengdu Municipal Commission of Commerce released Chengdu 2022 New Year's Eve Dinner Guide. The guide recommends 100 famous local dishes and presents the first edition (2022) of Chengdu Michelin Guide to citizens, luring them to enjoy delicious dishes of Chengdu.

The 100 famous Chengdu dishes and their representative restaurants selected by Chengdu New Year's Eve Dinner Guide 2022 include China's time-honored brands such as Fuqi Feipian (Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce), Lai Tang-yuan (Lai's Glutinous Rice Balls), Zhong Dumplings and Long Chaoshou (Sichuan-style Wontons), as well as classic Sichuan dishes such as Stewed Chicken with Ginkgo and Hui Guo Rou (Twice-cooked Pork), specialties such as Jianyang Mutton Soup, Qionglai Milk Soup Noodles and Shuangliu Spicy Rabbit Heads.

In addition, Michelin restaurants officially released the first edition (2022) of  Chengdu Michelin Guide, including one two-star restaurant, eight one-star restaurants, 13 Bib Gourmand restaurants and other 28 restaurants selected for the Michelin Guide. Chengdu has also become the fourth city in the Chinese mainland to have Michelin restaurants after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
