2023 "Daka China": From Urumqi to Hotan, A Tour Full of Praise by Foreign Internet Celebrities

2023 "Daka China - Understanding the Chinese Path to Modernization in Xinjiang" Online International Communication Event kicked off in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on July 26. Internet celebrities from other countries took a trip to Xinjiang Museum and Urumqi International Land Port Area, starting their wonderful tour to explore the vast land of Xinjiang.

Established in 1959, Xinjiang Museum displays the fine cultural relics unearthed across the autonomous region and shows Xinjiang's history and development. To Nguyen Thi Thanh, a Vietnamese Internet celebrity, this is her first trip to Xinjiang. She carefully listened to the museum guide and exchanged ideas with the guide several times.

After the tour at Xinjiang Museum, the Internet celebrities visited Urumqi International Land Port Area. Founded in 2015, this area focuses on the service of China-Europe (Central Asia) Railway Express. The International Land Port Area runs a total of 21 railway routes carrying more than 200 categories of goods to 26 cities in 19 countries and regions in Europe and Asia.

"The scale of Urumqi International Land Port Area is beyond my expectation, and I believe it will bring more opportunities for development to Pakistan", said Ghazali Younus, a Pakistani Internet celebrity.

After the visit to Urumqi, foreign Internet celebrities then arrived in Hotan that night. They went straight to the famous Hotan Night Market to taste local delicacies and experience ethnic customs.
