Recently, at the Gucheng Service Area Charging Station on the Fuyin Expressway, staff from the Shihua Power Supply Station of State Grid Gucheng County Power Supply Company provided on-site charging services for new energy vehicle owners using mobile emergency charging equipment. This ensured worry-free travel for the drivers.

To ensure power supply during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, State Grid Xiangyang Power Supply Company conducted inspections of 41 key expressway stations and 660 rural charging sites, focusing on the operational status of charging facilities and fire-fighting equipment, and conducting comprehensive safety inspections. The company also procured and pre-positioned 10 charging guns, 10 charging modules, 5 control modules, 4 TCUs, and other consumables. An emergency engineering team was formed to handle complex faults and the installation of new charging piles at any time, minimizing equipment downtime.

Li Min, head of the Emerging Industry Development Company of State Grid Xiangyang Power Supply Company, stated that during the Double Festival period, the company allocated 27 emergency charging cards to ensure users can charge their vehicles in urgent situations, such as equipment outages, thereby guaranteeing uninterrupted service. Leveraging a 24-hour monitoring platform, the company conducts real-time monitoring of key and expressway stations. Through a combined online and offline model, it guides customers to nearby charging stations, improving service efficiency and accuracy. Experienced operation and maintenance personnel have been stationed on-site at service areas such as Zhonggang, Zaoyang, Yicheng, and Xiangyang. They guide users during charging, maintain order, provide reminders on charging progress, answer questions, and oversee station hygiene, further enhancing the service experience.
