【2026 Daka China】Binzhou’s Aluminum Industry Moves Toward High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Through Industrial Chains Upgrading

On July 14, the delegation of 2026 "Daka China" — Hello, "15th Five-Year Plan"! New Quality Productive Forces Empowering Innovative Development of Shandong International Online Communication Event visited Zouping, a county-level city in Binzhou, east China's Shandong Province. Overseas internet influencers and China Media Group's multilingual anchors witnessed the dynamic, high-quality development of Binzhou's aluminum industry, which has shifted its focus from conventional processing to high-end intelligent manufacturing and scientific innovation applications.

Home to a large-scale aluminum industrial cluster, Binzhou accounts for one-third of China's bauxite imports, one-quarter of the country's alumina production, one-eighth of the total electrolytic aluminum output, and one-ninth of the aluminum profile processing volume.

Chinese and overseas influencers visited China Aluminum Valley Exhibition Hall, where they learned about cutting-edge technologies, R&D of new materials, and development trends of China's aluminum industry. Diverse physical exhibits demonstrated how aluminum materials have evolved from simple industrial raw materials to advanced, innovative materials.

In addition, they visited Shandong Yeyon Door and Window Technology Co., Ltd., gaining insight into the innovative transformation of aluminum materials applied in high-end home furnishing and green building sectors.

Aluminum products were once mostly applied to low-end applications such as basic profiles. Today, leveraging its upgraded aluminum industry resources, Binzhou has made its aluminum materials available in high-end products, including lightweight auto components, all-aluminum home furnishings and superconducting wires and cables.
