Pro-gun right politicians, including former U.S. President Trump and former Vice President Pence, were invited to deliver speeches. Charles Ramsey, the former chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, District of Columbia (MPDC) said, “We’ve got elected officials that for whatever reason, just do not take actions. I personally think they care more about money and their own personal power than they do about the lives of people in this country.”
